Alcohol Permit Process
Planning a company picnic, family reunion or reception? Tualatin Hills Park & Recreation District's beautiful parks and facilities can provide the perfect setting. Many of the District's 200 parks have picnic tables available for use on a first-come, first-served basis.
Alcohol Use
It is unlawful to possess or drink alcohol in parks without a permit. Only beer and wine are allowed with a permit, no kegs or hard liquor are allowed in the parks. Underage consumption of alcohol is not legal at any location. Sale or serving of alcoholic beverages requires a Special Use Permit, insurance, and under certain circumstances, approval by the Oregon Liquor Control Commission.
Park Reservation Permit Applications
If you wish to be guaranteed a picnic site, you may want to make a picnic reservation for one of our designated sites in advance. Reservations are for table groupings of three or more and are best suited for a minimum of 20 people at the following parks.
- Cedar Hills Park
- Raleigh Park
- Schiffler Park
Please remember that parks belong to everyone and all are welcome to enjoy them. Areas cannot be roped off or otherwise isolated from general public access.
Special Use Permit for Alcoholic Beverages
A permit is required if you wish to use a park site or facility not listed above and plan on providing or selling alcoholic beverages to others at your event.
