Rec Mobile
The THPRD Rec Mobile's primary purpose is to provide youth in our community with FREE Athletic, artistic and educational programs, by visiting our local schools, parks and housing complexes. Every child deserves a chance at a healthy lifestyle that includes; staying active, challenging activities, creative projects, encouraging mentors and healthy snacks and meals!
The Rec Mobile brings the fun to you with its cheerfully decorated ambulance and van! Each vehicle has been coverted and equipped with a variety of sports and recreation equipment as well as with arts and craft supplies. You can't miss seeing them on the road!
The Rec Mobiles services can be rented for company picnics, block parties, birthday parties and more! The proceeds of our rentals go directly into offsetting the costs or our free programs and they allow us to make a bigger impact on the youth in our community.
Rec Mobile Programs
Summer Day Camp (June-August): During the summer, the Rec Mobile partners with the Beaverton School District to offer free day camp programs at their Free Summer Meal sites. the Rec Mobile sends out 2 crews, Monday-Friday, to visit different schools, parks and apartment complexes. The crews remain at the different sites for 3-5 hours and engage their youth participants (ages 5+) in sports activities, games, arts & crafts and more!
Winter & Spring Break (December & March): During Winter and Spring Break, the Rec Mobile visits different apartment complexes in the district to provide youth ages 5+ with free activities from 10:30am-3:00pm.

Tuesday: Center Square Apartments and Fircrest Manor Apartments
Wednesday: Villa Capri and Merlo Station Apartments
Thursday: Center Plaza Apartments and Fircrest Manor Apartments
Friday: Merlo Station and TBD

Friday Night Fun (September-May): On select Fridays, the Rec Mobile team visits different appartment complexes in the district to provide free activities for kids and families from 5:30pm-7:30pm.

Rent the Rec Mobile
The Rec Mobile is available for rentals year-round and has a multitude of activities to offer participants including; face painting, jump house inflatable, arts & crafts, sports activities and more! Rentals can be outdoors or indoors and the Rec Mobile can travel to you! If you are looking for an event location, there are several great facilities and parks around the district that are available for rentals.
