Project Summary & Public Benefits
Segment No. 5 (Kaiser Road to Westside Trail) of the Rock Creek Trail is 0.45 miles between NW Kaiser Road and the Westside Trail. This project will connect both the Rock Creek and Westside regional trails.
Segment No. 2 (Allenbach Acres Park) is 0.26 miles long between West Union Road and 185th Avenue. When completed, this project will connect 4.23 miles of trail, ultimately joining two regional trails.
Once the two segments are completed, the Rock Creek Regional Trail will be 3.52 miles of continuous hard surface trail through the district, and will eventually connect through Hillsboro to the Light Rail. The trail will also connect to the Waterhouse Community Trail thereby connecting to the Westside Regional Trail, which stretches south to Tigard.
Update
Sections 2 & 5 of the Rock Creek Trail are now open! Contractors will be on site over the winter to finalize work, but the trail is open to the public.
