Project Summary & Public Benefits
Master planning for Vista Brook Park began in fall 2010. Renovations will include pathways, play equipment, picnic areas, basketball court upgrades, parking improvements, landscape plantings and natural area restoration.
A staff-recommended design for the park redevelopment has been prepared by project consultants in response to public input, park management considerations, and regulatory factors.
Following the completion of the master plan phase, the design team will work toward approval of the design by multiple regulators, and preparation of a construction bid package. The construction phase of the project is currently slated for spring 2013.
Update
THPRD has advertised the Vista Brook Park Construction Project for bids from general contractors. Construction is anticipated to begin in late June 2013, lasting through December 2013.
