The safety of our patrons is one of THPRD's highest concerns. That's why passage of the 2008 bond measure was so important - it allows the district to attend to important maintenance work and structural upgrades at a number of facilities.
Seismic upgrades will be made to the Garden Home Recreation Center. Built in 1912 as a school, the center hosts a variety of activities. THPRD purchased the property in 1986. Fun fact - the school's original 1912 bell is still located at the center.
