Project Summary & Public Benefits

Natural area restoration at Summercrest Park included 1.5 acres of non-native trees, shrubs, and groundcover removal followed by replanting with native trees and shrubs

Update

In February 2012, THPRD staff installed 1,600 native trees and shrubs in Summercrest Park. To aid in the establishment of the new plantings, contractors will continue to control non-native vegetation through 2013.
