Calling all park lovers, community enthusiasts and big idea generators: Tualatin Hills Park & Recreation District needs your voice.Join one of the three Advisory Committees and help create lasting change in your parks and programs

THPRD Board appoints Wendy Kroger as a fifth member.

The current board will make a decision and announce the appointee at their regularly scheduled meeting on March 12.

THPRD is now accepting applications for a vacant position on its five-member elected board of directors. The application deadline is Feb. 7. Board members plan to announce their appointee on March 12.

Registration for THPRD's winter term will be open to district residents starting at 8 am on Saturday, Dec. 9. Out-of-district registration begins Monday, Dec. 11. Online registration will be available 24 hours a day at www.thprd.org.

THPRD is once again working with the Beaverton School District and other community partners to create a brighter holiday season for those in need in the Beaverton area. The district will collect toys, clothing and other items for selected families and homeless children; it will also collect personal hygiene products and linens for the Union Gospel Mission LifeChange Center for Women & Children.

With THPRD’s historic Schlottmann House on SW 158th Ave. in need of a fresh coat of paint, the district turned to its resident history buff, who happens to have an office in the building.

Registration for THPRD's fall classes, programs and activities will be open to in-district residents starting Saturday morning, Aug. 19, at 8 am.

A project to replace the roof at the Tualatin Hills Aquatic Center will affect traffic and parking at the HMT Recreation Complex. This project is scheduled to be completed by the end of November.
