Parks, Recreation and Nature.
In our neighborhoods. Close to home.

The voters stepped up. And we are following through.

When our community voted in favor of Parks Bond Measure 34-156 last November, it sent a clear message: that despite difficult economic times, local residents place a high value on parks, recreational opportunities, natural areas and open space.

The Tualatin Hills Park & Recreation District serves more than 200,000 people in the City of Beaverton and the many fast-growing areas of unincorporated Washington County. You have our word that your bond dollars will be used to make cost-effective investments that will benefit the entire community for generations to come.

With our new, more user-friendly Web site (www.thprd.org), we will keep you updated on the many ways your money is being spent to create a park system that serves everyone. As we add new athletic fields, new parks or upgrade existing ones - you will know. As we expand trails or preserve natural areas and open space - you will know. As we work to protect water quality and wildlife habitat - you will know. When we replace, expand or upgrade facilities for safety and disabled access - you will know.

Explore this site to learn more about the benefits of the THPRD bond and what it will provide for our community.

And once again, thank you.
