Concert in the Park Series

Raleigh Park
Tuesday, July 15, 6-8 p.m.
Join the Tualatin Hills Park & Recreation District as we celebrate parks and summertime with a free community concert at Raleigh Park. Bring your family, a lawn chair or a blanket, and meet your neighbors and friends for a summer evening of fun and music. Rock the evening away with The Sugar Beets, playing their own style of high-energy acoustic music. Food and beverages are available for purchase, or bring your own picnic. No alcohol allowed.
The THPRD Rec Mobile, our mobile recreation unit, will provide face painting, balloons, games, and activities for kids.
Artist: The Sugar Beets
One need only witness The Sugar Beets in performance to understand why their talent is quickly becoming legendary throughout the Northwest.
“When they come out on stage it’s like a dancing hurricane.” –Oregon Daily Emerald, Eugene, OR
Defined by impeccable musicianship, multiple singers and songwriters, and unbeatable live performances, their soul-empowering groove can convince even the most catatonic listener to get up and dance. The music draws from the foot-stomping traditions of bluegrass, Celtic, and old-time fiddle music yet is inextricably woven to the worlds of Motown, gospel, country, and pop. Uplifting and always evolving, it is no wonder that the Sugar Beets have enjoyed an increasing and devout Northwest following throughout their 10-year existence.
