Tualatin Hills Park & Recreation (THPRD)'s popular outdoor special events, the concert and theater series, Party in the Park and Groovin' on the Grass, are back to provide a summer long season of quality entertainment and activities for guests. These events are held rain or shine. THPRD parks are smoke-free please refrain from smoking in the park.
THPRD is seeking high-quality food vendors and you are invited to apply to participate.
Applications are subject to a selection process; THPRD reserves the right to deny any application without explanation. Selection criteria include, but not limited to:
Submit Food Concessionaire Application. If application is accepted vendor will receive a signed Agreement and event details. Fees and deadlines are included in the THPRD Event Schedule below.
Vendors are responsible for contacting Washington County Environmental Health Department to apply for permits and licenses. Be sure to download a copy of Washington county Food Booth Checklist.
When a vendor has been notified of acceptance then a Certificate of Insurance (COI) in the amount of $1 million general liability, $2 million general aggregate and naming THPRD as additional insured is required and due on file at THPRD no less than 30 days prior to the event.
When a vendor has been notified of acceptance they will be required to agree to indemnify and hold harmless THPRD, its officers, agents and employees from any and all claims, demands, losses, or damages, including attorney's fees, which may arise in any manner from the Concessionaire's activities or presence on THPRD property as authorized by this agreement. This release and indemnification obligation includes, but is not limited to, claims made by the Concessionaire, its agents, or employees.
Washington County Licenses and Permits
Vendors must provide copies of food vendor license and event permits required by Washington County Health Department and COI to THPRD Event Coordinator no less than 30 days prior to event (Washington County permit receipt acceptable).
THPRD Vendor Fees
Event fees must be paid by vendor to THPRD no less than 30 days prior to event.
Vendor agrees to pay fees for required licenses and permits to the appropriate bureau (see Washington County Food Booth Checklist) and to pay to THPRD the associated vendor fees if selected to participate. Food sales open 1 hour prior to listed start times.
