Celebrate parks and summertime with a FREE concert at Greenway Park!
Artist: Thad Beckman Band is fronted by a man described by critics as “a vagabond” and a “first-class picker” with “a finely honed bluesy voice” that “rasps like shoe leather on roadside gravel.” Those descriptions - sprinkled with words like “master,” “splendid,” and “compelling” – suggest that the singer-songwriter’s set of folk and blues-inspired storytelling is not to be missed.
Bring your family, a lawn chair or blanket, and meet your neighbors and friends for a summer evening of fun and music.
Seating is on the grass; beach/sand chairs or blankets for seating are encouraged. Regular height lawn chairs will be asked to move to the side or rear.
Food and beverages are available for purchase, or bring your own picnic. Alcohol is not allowed. Leashed dogs are welcome to attend with their owners.
Along with community partners and sponsors, our Rec Mobile and the Nature Mobile will be on site to engage kids with games and activities.
Parking: Parkview Loop (on-street parking)
Disabled Parking: ADA parking reserved near Park View Loop entrance and also at Settler Way entrance.
Concert Entrance: Entrance available on Parkview Loop, and also on Settler Way (concert is held near the playground with the big red tractor)
