A public meeting of the budget committee of the Tualatin Hills Park & Recreation District will be held at 6 pm on February 24, 2021. In response to the current health emergency resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic, the district facilities are currently closed to the public and meetings are being held electronically. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the budget for the current fiscal year, July 1, 2020 to June 30, 2021, to elect budget committee officers and to receive comment from the public on the current year budget and the budget for the next fiscal year. This is a public meeting where deliberation of the budget committee will take place. The meetings will be available for viewing via the District's scheduled YouTube channel https://youtu.be/8rqeJAuHyMw. The meetings will also be recorded and available via a link on the district website at www.thprd.org no later than 5 business days following the meeting.
Public comment will be taken in written and phone in format. Written comments received by 5 pm on February 22, 2021 will be read during the public comment section of the meeting on February 24, 2021. Comments by phone will be taken on a scheduled basis during the public comment section of the meetings on February 24, 2021. Comments, both written and phone-in, will be subject to a three-minute limit per community member.
