Thousands enjoy Beaverton International Celebration, car show, family triathlon, family fun, and great weather
THPRD's Party in the Park drew several thousand people to the HMT Recreation Complex in Beaverton on Saturday, July 30. For the first time ever, the City of Beaverton combined with the Park District to showcase the many cultures that call our area home with the Beaverton International Celebration.
As always, patrons enjoyed The T-Hills Classic Car Show, a Family Triathlon, the K-9 Unit demonstration by the Beaverton Police Department, great food, games, giant inflatables, music, free swimming, and much more. In the coming days, we'll provide a photo slideshow and a video wrapping up the entire day. Thank you to everyone who came out to the 2011 Party in the Park and have a great rest of the summer.
