PROGRAM DEFINITIONS/DROP-IN PROGRAMS
Adult Lap Swim
Designated for those 18 years and older who can swim lengths of the pool on a nonstop basis. Participants are required to follow the designated circle swim pattern.
All Age Lap Swim
Designated for anyone who can swim lengths of the pool on a nonstop basis. Must be able to understand and follow the principles of lap circle swim etiquette.
Family Swim
An unstructured swim program for families. Children must be accompanied in the water by their parents at all times.
Open Swim
An unstructured swim for all ages. An adult or guardian must accompany children under 43 inches from the chin down and under the age of seven. Due to the popularity of Open Swim, in-district residents with a current residency card will be admitted first. A waiting list will be established if pool capacity is reached. As a guest leaves the facility, the person at the top of the waiting list will be admitted.
Open Kayak
$2 in district with valid THPRD residency card)/$6 out of district plus $3 boat fee. Pool time is provided for individuals to bring their boats for practice. Instruction not permitted.
Open Scuba
$2 in district with valid THPRD residency card)/$6 out of district plus $2 tank fee. Pool time is provided for patrons to bring their scuba gear and practice dives in our 12-foot area. Instruction not permitted. Open Water Certification required.
FITNESS PROGRAMS
New - Aquabox
A shallow water aerobic class that involves kicking and punching that mimick kick boxing techniques. It includes a warm-up, stretch, aerobic activity, full body conditioning, stretching, and strength activities.
Aquarobics
Shallow water exercise class.
Back & Arthritis
A very low-key stretching class designed for those who have back problems, arthritis, are recovering from surgery or just trying to relieve aches and pains by stretching.
Deep Water Aerobics
An exercise class in the deep water. Flotation belts provided.
