Fitness Programs
Cedar Hills Recreation Center is Fitness! We offer an exciting class schedule to fit all fitness levels.
A wide variety of fitness options.- A staff of highly trained and qualified certified fitness instructors.
- Personal trainers are committed to your personal goals and progress.
Winter Registration
The activity guide is currently available on line or can be picked up at select locations throughout the District. Or better yet, stop by the Recreation Center and check us out.
Winter classes began January 3, 2012.
Personal training
Private appointments with a personal trainer are available to customize your fitness program. Sessions are 60 minutes long. Please contact the office to schedule your appointment.
Session Pricing
1 Session: $44 ID
3 Sessions: $132 ID
6 Sessions: $247 ID
Weight Room Orientation
Meet with one of our personal trainers for a one-hour session where you will be given an introduction to our fitness rooms. You will be shown how to work out and what each machine does. This is a great opportunity for those who have never worked with weight room equipment or if you just need a refresher.
One session: $39 ID
Drop-In Fitness
For $6 ID ($12 OD without assessment) you can purchase a drop-in ticket* for any one fitness class, from Aerobics to Zumba.
Drop-In Yoga/Pilates
For $9.75 ID ($19.50 OD without assessment) you can purchase a drop-in ticket* to a yoga or pilates class.
*Tickets are good for the term they are parched in and do not carry over to another term.
Adult Fitness Classes
Our classes are taught by certified fitness professionals devoted to supporting you in your fitness goals.
BODYCOMBAT™
This fiercely energetic program is inspired by martial arts and draws from a wide array of disciplines such as karate, boxing, taekwondo, tai chi and muay thai. Supported by driving music and powerful role model instructors, you strike, punch, kick and kata your way through calories to superior cardio fitness.
BODYPUMP™
This program is one of the fastest ways to shape up and lose fat and ideal for just about anybody who wants to add strength training into their aerobic workout. It challenges all your major muscle groups by using the best weight-room exercises to great music.
