Instructors
Selene Robinowitz
Selene has a bachelor's and master's degree in English and a certificate of fine arts in painting. She is a fine arts painter and is a graduate of the Oregon College of Arts & Crafts with an emphasis on painting and clay. She is currently working part-time in her painting studio in northwest Portland, where she is working on a new body of abstract work. Selene is also a writer with experience in local television, public relations and children's books. She loves teaching children because they are so spontaneous, funny and open to new ideas.
Ellen Harshman
Ellen has worked in parks programs for 15 years with ages ranging from 9 months to 12 years of age. Her focus has been mainly preschool ages, but she also has a strong background in after-school programs. Ellen teaches a variety of classes at Conestoga including; art, science, and general interest programs.
