Dance Programs
Preschool Classes (child/parent)
Munchkin Dance
Parent and child will dance to fun songs while developing coordination, body awareness and balance. Munchkin Dance allows your child to develop comfort in a classroom setting with you by their side. Parent participation required.
Munchkin Ballet
Parent and child will dance to fun songs while learning the technique for ballet through creative dance moves and short routines. Parent participation required.
Toddler Two Step
Spark your child's imagination and love for dance. Parent and child will dance to fun songs while developing coordination, body awareness and balance. Streamers, scarves, and ribbons will be used. Don't miss the fun! Parent Participation Required.
Hip Hop Parent and Me
Move, shake, wiggle and giggle. Children & parents will enjoy dancing together to different beats and rhythms. Parent participation required.
Teeny Tiny Tap
Tiny toes tap away in this fun, energetic class. Parent and child will dance to fun songs while learning the technique through fun and creative dances. Parent participation required.
Preschool Classes
TuTu Time
Develop motor skills, coordination and strength in this fun imaginative class. Students will learn fundamentals of ballet technique.
Zumbatomic
An explosive fusion of dance, games and fun set to the rhythms of salsa, cumbia, hip-hop, merengue, African and many more! This high-energy class is sure to keep your child moving and staying fit!
Ballet / Tap
Learn the technique for both dance styles through creative dance. Children will develop coordination, strength and balance.
Tap
Create music and rhythm with your feet. Learn the fundamentals of tap to different styles of music. Bring your tap shoes!
Ballet
Children will learn fundamentals of ballet technique in this exciting ballet. Children will increase balance and poise while developing strength and coordination.

Ballet / Tap / Jazz Sandwich
Experience all of these fundamental dance styles with Leslie. Learn coordination, balance, rhythm, and expression. Amaze your friends and family by performing prepared routines the last day of class.

Hip Hop
Learn the latest hip hop dance moves and create a choreographed routine to the hottest groups of today!
Cheer and Drill Thrill
Blend technique, showmanship and creativity to prepare you for cheerleading or drill team.
Tween Tap
No tap yet? No problem! Come learn how to shuffle, flap and soft shoe with kids your age. Tap shoes required.
Tip Top Tap Shape
Always wanted to try tap? Learn the basics like shuffles, flaps and even the soft shoe! we'll do exercises to upbeat music and learn a fun routine. Tap shoes required.
Broadway Bound
Get a taste of Broadway! Discover how to combine acting, singing and dancing. Focus will include warming up the body and voice, developing characterization and selling the song. Children will learn a group musical routine and perform the last day of class. No experience necessary.
Dance Instructors
Leslie Winfield
A Colorado native, Leslie began dancing when she was seven. In high school, she was bitten by the theatre bug and began acting in plays and musicals. She earned a BFA in musical theatre from Stephens College (Missouri). Since then, Leslie has performed on stage in Iowa, Idaho, Washington, Oregon and even Ireland. Her teaching career began while in high school at Miller's Dance Studio (Colorado) and continues at Conestoga. Her specialties include ballet, tap, jazz, modern, acting, singing, theatrical makeup and creative movement.
Charlotte Hill
A home-school graduate and Oregon native, Charlotte began dancing in 1998 at the Cedar Hills Recreation Center. In 2001, she was introduced to the Royal Academy of Dance training system at the Multnomah Arts Center. After three years there, she moved to June Taylor's School of Dance, where she continues to study, has passed six RAD exams with merit or distinction, and performs with Northwest Dance Theatre. She bagan teaching at Conestoga in June 2008, teaching several dance styles to kids ages 3-8. Charlotte enjoys teaching because of the opportunity to make a positive impact on children early in their lives. She hopes her students will discover a love for dance and remember her as an encouraging role model.
