AARP Driver Safety Program An eight-hour classroom refresher course designed to meet the needs of older drivers. Sharpen driving skills, develop strategies for adjusting to age-related changes in vision, hearing and reaction time. Must attend both four-hour sessions to receive certificate. To register, call the Stuhr Center. Registration taken 30 days prior to beginning of class. $10 fee, payable by check to AARP. Mail your check to the Stuhr Center attention AARP; this will hold your spot. If your registration is not received one week prior to class, your spot will be given to someone on our waiting list. For additonal information, contact the AARP in your area via www.aarp.org. The following is a list of AARP Driver Safety Program classes held at the Stuhr Center: July 12 and 19, 9:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. September 16 and 17, 9:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. October 11 and 18, 9:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. November 8 and 15, 9:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. December 9 and 10, 9:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. |
