Summer Camps
SUMMER 2012
Summer Camp 2012 Registration is Underway!
Full Day Summer Camps--Three age groups; three great camps
Camp activities run from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Staff supervision will be available starting at 7:30 a.m. for early drop-off until 6 p.m. for pick up.
Sessions run weekly from June 18 through August 24, no camp on July 4.
Kids Quest Camp, Ages 5-7 years
Campers will enjoy participating in age appropriate art, sports, games, crafts and much more. A full-day off-site trip is scheduled every Friday and two additional half-day field trips, which will include swimming, will be held on various days.
Camp Garden Home, Ages 8-10 years
Campers will have the opportunity to participate in crafts, sports, games, science, cooking, art and so much more. Full-day off-site field trips are scheduled every Thursday with two additional half-day trips, which include swimming, will be held on various days.
Disco Adventure Camp, Ages 11-14 years
We have action packed weeks planned that will include water activities, cooking, sports, games, art, scavenger hunts and time to just kick back with your friends and enjoy the summer. Each week will include at least two fun mini off-site trips like bowling, Pump It Up, swimming, jet boats and more. Our AWESOME full-day, off-site field trip will primarily be held on Wednesdays and may require early drop-off and late pick up.
DEPOSIT OPTION and FULL DAY CAMP REFUND POLICY
A $25 deposit is required for each participant, each week of camp, at the time of registration. (Note: The deposit is nonrefundable, but it may be transferred to other THPRD programs prior to June 4, 2012. After June 4, deposits will no longer be transferrable.)
A camp balance will be refundable or transferable only if requested at least two weeks prior to the start of the week you are requesting to drop. All camp balances will be due by 5 p.m. on the Monday two weeks prior to the start of each camp week. Your spot in camp will be forfeited automatically if the balance is not paid by the two-week deadline.
Teen Specialty Adventure Camps for ages 12-16yrs
Iron Chef!
Each day a different competition: appetizer challenge, great pizza challenge, dessert round followed by the Iron Chef competition. We will also visit some of the best places to eat around the Portland metro area and have a professional culinary class.

Secret Agent Camp
In this exciting camp you will have special operations training in paintball, learn stealth tactics with Jiu-Jitsu, gain precision aim with archery at the range and challenge yourself on a high ropes course.

Teen Service Learning Camp
We'll inspire teens to jump into action and provide service to their community through fun service projects. Each day campers will head out to different parts of the city. They'll have the opportunity to gain their required service learing hours and make new friends all while having fun giving back.

Basic Wilderness Survival Camp
Join us for a great adventure! Over the course of four days, you will learn all of the basic skills you need to survive in the wilderness. You'll also explore a different area each day. The final test will be a hike-in backpacking CAMP-OUT begining on Wednesday.
