This is meant to be a tutorial for individuals new to the
THPRD Tennis Center
Step 1
THPRD is funded through property taxes on residences in the general Washington County area (with some exceptions). To learn more, click this link.
The first thing we want to do is check to see if you are in our tax jurisdiction. The purpose of this address check is to see if you help THPRD subsidize our costs.
**Out of district patrons have the option of paying either an $72 quarterly "assessment fee" for the household or paying twice what an in-district person would pay, per activity. However, in order to take any group lesson or hit group every out of district patron's household must have a current assessment fee paid**

This is a rough estimate of In-district status. In-district eligibility will be finalized during account set up at any THPRD facility.
Step 2
Registering with THPRD is free, quick, and easy. Bring a photo ID (driver's license is most common) and a reoccurring monthly bill/statement (utility, Comcast, bank, credit card etc) with your current and matching address to ANY of THPRD's facilities so we can get you into our computer system. Once at the facility they will ask you to fill out a registration form, which can be found at this link. Anyone residing at the specific address may be added to the account (ie spouse, kids, etc).

Have you played a little bit in the past, and don't want to start from square one? Or want to know what THPRD tennis level you are?
- The link is a listing of the NTRP rating system. THPRD uses a version of this system. NTRP Rating Chart
- Call ahead for a FREE 15 minute evaluation with one of our pros. No need to bring your own racket; just bring yourself and a smile. Call 503/629-6331 for current availability. Are you looking for more of a challenge without the lengthy time commitment of a group lesson?
- Come in for one of our weekly hit groups. We have hit groups for adults from level 2 to 4.5. Click here for Hit Group specific description, pricing and registration information.
Know your level, new to the area, and/or looking for a hitting partner?

Do you already have tennis friends and you are just looking for a court?
