Hit Groups and Clinics
Patrons can sign up for the following week's activities starting Thursday of the week before. Online registration starts at 7 a.m., and over-the-phone registration starts at 8:30 a.m. Payment is due at the time of enrollment. All participants must either be in district with a current THPRD account in good standing, or have a current out of district paid assessment.
In the Document Center on the right side of the page there is a link for the current hit group information including class numbers (which you will need to register online).
Katherine's Drill & Play
Mondays, 1 p.m. -2:30 p.m.
NTRP class level of 2.5-3.0.
$11.00 per event / $8.25 ID SR
Come on out and drill for the first 30 minutes and then practice what you've learned. This class gives students the opportunity to get some fast paced drilling along with match play.
Teri And The Pirates
Mondays, 6:30-8 p.m.
Fridays, 10:30-noon a.m.
NTRP rating of 4.0 or higher

Teri and the Pirates is a fun-filled group with lots of hitting. We run three courts with three or four programs and work on skills, fitness, and real time play development.
Brian's Singles Drill & Play
Tuesdays, 6-7 p.m.
NTRP level of 3.0 or above.
$13.00 per event / $9.75 ID SR
Join Brian as he takes you through singles strategy and drills for 30 minutes and then try out your new skills as Brian puts you into some match play for the last 30 minutes.
Men's Doubles Night
Wednesdays, 8-10 p.m.
NTRP rating of 3.0 and above
$10 ID per event / $7.50 ID-SR
Men's Night is a great time to play tennis after work. Players rotate courts every 20 minutes and play with a different partner each rotation. We run the event throughout the year on 2-6 courts depending on participation level. So if you're at least 18 years of age and a 3.0 or above player, come on out and join the fun.
Stroking Analysis
Wednesdays, 7-8 pm
NTRP level 2 and above
$8.00 ID/ $6.00 ID SR
This clinic is available for players level 2 and higher. The main goal of the class is to work on the technical portion of your game. During the session, you will focus on each of the main strokes: ground strokes, volleys, overheads and the serve. The ball machine is utilized in this class. This is a technically structured class, and is not comprised of drilling and games.
Scott's Singles Slam
Wednesdays, 7-8 p.m.
NTRP class level 3 and up only
$13.00 ID / $9.75 ID SR
This is a fast-paced hit group that is a good workout with real-time skill development. Singles strategies include offense and defense against different styles of play and effective stroke production.
Scott's Drills & Conditioning
Wednesdays, 6-7 p.m.
NTRP level 3.5 +

Challenge your cardio fitness levels as you run through a series of high intensity drills for levels 3.5 and above.
Wofford Wednesdays
Wednesdays, noon-2 p.m.
NTRP class level 2-2.5

Join Mike for fun drilling. You'll work on doubles movement and doubles strategies along with continued skill development.
Brian's Champ and Challenger Hit Group (Juniors - ages 10-16)

Tualatin Hills is offering a USTA High Performance Hit Group for the first time. This 90-minute class will focus on high intensity hitting, match strategy and successful stroking patterns to bring optimum performance to your competitive matches. The ratio of this class will be four students on court with our High Performance Coach Brian Loomis. Junior Drop In Day's (updated for Jan 2012)
If you were unable to get your child into a class because of a scheduling conflict for part of the class. Join us for another day of tennis. Each of these junior drop in days are treated as an individual day (ie you can do one week at a time). Below is a summary:

Come out for this heart pumping 90 minute clinic. Enjoy some fast-paced drilling for the first hour and then some organized match play to finish up.
Adult NTRP Level 2 Tennis Clinic
Fridays, 9-10:30 a.m.
$11 ID / $8.25 ID SR
This one hour clinic is designed for players that have already taken level 2 classes before. Students will work on ball placement, approach shots, doubles strategies and overall court movement. Come join the fun!
