Camp Rivendale Rental
The Tualatin Hills Park & Recreation District welcomes you to this tranquil setting, tucked into a wooded area crowning Cooper Mountain. Come enjoy the view of the Tualatin Valley and the surrounding mountains.
Camp Rivendale is operated during the summer as a day camp for youth with disabilities. It's also a wonderful location for family reunions and company picnics.
Rental Details And Fees
- Family reunions or company picnics only
- Site Address: 8385 SW Grabhorn Road (enter at second iron gate)
- Accommodations for as many as 200 guests (limited parking)
- June-September, weekends only
- $300 rental fee (six-hour minimum; additional hours $50 each)
Amenities Included With Rental
- Open playfield with new play equipment and covered picnic shelter
- Restroom facilities
- Picnic tables
- Barbecue (briquette)
- Volleyball net (bring your own ball) and horseshoe pits (bring your own horseshoes)
- Standard cleaning and garbage removal (clients are responsible for the removal of all personal items)
- THPRD also has a Rec Mobile rental program for an additional rental fee...let THPRD bring the fun to you with sports, arts & crafts and more
Tours & Appointments
The park is open from dawn to dusk.
Event Checklist
- Call to schedule an appointment to tour the site, hosted by Jenkins Estate staff. Tours are available Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. - 3 p.m., or on Thursday evenings.
- Hold a preferred date on the calendar. Dates are held for two weeks without obligation.
- 50% of the rental fee secures the date. If you do not wish to confirm the date, please call the office and cancel.
- Refunds will be granted with 60 days notice prior to the event. There is a $4 processing fee for all refunds.
60 Days Prior To Your Event
Schedule an appointment to discuss the following:
- Remit the remainder of your balance.
- Remit the $200 damage deposit.
- Submit your "Responsible Party" document.
- Submit Special Use Permit Form. The Park District requires Oregon Liquor Control Commission (OLCC) licensed servers.
- Provide insurance information. Proof of insurance must be on file by the clients or the caterer.
- Inform the office of the namesand phone numbers of your service providers (caterer,rental equipment, etc.).
- Inform all of your service providers of your rental time. Make sure that they know they will not have access to the Jenkins Estate/Camp Rivendalebefore the scheduled rental time begins and must be packed up before the scheduled rental time ends. (The renter will be charged for extra time used.)
