GARDEN TEA ROOM AT THE GATE HOUSE

Saturday, June 21, 12:30 p.m. (full, but taking names on a waiting list)
$20 per person; 7 years to adult; reservations required.
Take the chill off the winter with a visit to the Garden Tea Room and enjoy the taking of Tea served with a delicious assortment of tea sandwiches, freshly baked scones, and decadent sweets. This event is for those 7 years of age and older (a special menu can be provided for those under 12 years of age.) Reservations required. Walk-in seating is not available. Single seating reservations welcome.

SUMMER CELEBRATION
Tuesday, August 5, 6 - 9 p.m.
The Jenkins Estate will host well-known pianist and entertainer Michael Allen Harrison & Friends. Please join us on the front lawn of the Estate for a warm and wonderful evening of music. Gourmet food and wines will be available for purchase. Call 503/629-6355 or e-mail gdubois@thprd.com for directions and details. Admission is $5.

PAINTER'S SHOWCASE

35th Annual Art Show & Sale,
October 9-12, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. daily.  The Stable will be filled with paintings, etchings and drawings of both modern and representational compositions. In addition, each artist-member has been challenged to create his or her own artistic interpretation of a set number of articles. A portion of sales will be donated to Camp Rivendale, which is a day camp for children with disabilities.

SPOOKTACULAR
Saturday, October 25, 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.
$7 per child (adults free).  Children 10 and younger are invited to participate in “not so spooky” carnival fun at the Stable of the Jenkins Estate. Face painting, lots of games and prizes, crafts, pictures the scarecrow garden, a snack shack, and a hayride to the pumpkin patch all part of the Halloween Happenings at the Estate. Costumes are optional but encouraged.
