The Natural Resources Department has a number of internship opportunities available that fall under two different categories, THPRD internships and AmeriCorps L.I.N.K.S. positions. All of these internships are ongoing opportunities to gain valuable work experience while volunteering with the Natural Resources Department to accomplish necessary field and office related tasks.
The AmeriCorps L.I.N.K.S. positions are unique for a few reasons. These positions require some extra training through the AmeriCorps program. Also, once the requirements of these positions are fulfilled, the volunteer will receive an education award through the AmeriCorps program.
