AARP Driver Safety Program
This is an six-hour classroom refresher course designed to meet the needs of older drivers. Students sharpen their driving skills and develop strategies for adjusting to age-related changes in vision, hearing and reaction time. Participants must attend both four-hour sessions to receive a certificate.
To register, call the Stuhr Center. Registration is taken 30 days prior to the beginning of class. $12 fee for current AARP members, $14 fee for non-AARP members, payable by check to AARP.

The following is a list of AARP Driver Safety Program classes held at the Stuhr Center and can be scheduled one month in advance of the class:
- January 7 & 14; 9:30am-12:30pm
- February 4 & 11; 9:30am-12:30pm
- March 3 & 24; 9:30am-12:30pm
- no classes scheduled for April
- May 5 & 12; 9:30am-12:30pm
- June 16 & 23; 9:30am-12:30pm
