AARP Driver Safety Program
This is an eight-hour classroom refresher course designed to meet the needs of older drivers. Students sharpen their driving skills and develop strategies for adjusting to age-related changes in vision, hearing and reaction time. Participants must attend both four-hour sessions to receive a certificate. To register, call the Stuhr Center. Registration is taken 30 days prior to the beginning of class. $12 fee for current AARP members, $14 fee for non-AARP members, payable by check to AARP. The following is a list of AARP Driver Safety Program classes held at the Stuhr Center:
- January 5 and 6: 9:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
- February 20 and 27: 9:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
- March 23 and 24: 9:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
- May 8 and 15: 9:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
- June 5 and 12: 9:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
