To register for special events, call or visit the center. Additional program registration information is detailed throughout the THPRD activities guide, which is published three times a year.
Monthly Newsletter
The Sentinel is a monthly publication of the Elsie Stuhr Center that outlines the center's events. The Sentinel may be mailed to you for an annual fee of $5 or picked up at the center for 25 cents per copy. If you would like to receive the Sentinel by e-mail free of charge please e-mail ekent@thprd.org. Call the center for additional information.
Advisory Committee
(Robert Cannon, Harold Eves, Edith Frahm, David Magee, Doris Regan, Diane Jarvis and Norm Vaillancourt)
The committee is made up of community members who represent residents of the Park District. They receive public input and make recommendations about the operation of the center. If you are interested in becoming an advisory committee member, please let us know.
Program Volunteers
We are always looking for interesting programs and/or talented individuals who would like to volunteer at our center. If you play a musical instrument or would like to share your adventures from a trip, please call Linda Aliff at 503/629-6342. Our programs take place during the day.
Class Ideas, Instructors needed
Do you have an interest in a special craft or project? Would you like to teach a class? Please give us a call; we are always looking for new class ideas.
