The Skate Park is open to the public for free use on the north end of the Howard M. Terpenning Recreation Complex. Please note the guidelines posted at the Skate Park. For more information, please contact the Athletic Center.
Helmets are highly recommended for all people who use the Skate Park. Skate Park cards are available from the Athletic Center at no charge. Other recommended protective equipment includes wrist guards, elbow pads and knee pads.
WARNING STATEMENT: Skateboarding, skating, and biking can be hazardous recreational activities and can cause serious injury. Use of this facility may result in serious injury. All surfaces of this park are extremely dangerous when wet. Any use of the Skate Park is at your own risk.

SKATE PARK GUIDELINES
Skateboards, in-line skates and bicycles ARE permitted.
Oregon law requires youth 15 years of age and younger to wear safety helmets when riding skateboards, in-line skates, and bicycles in public places.
Helmets are highly recommended. Protective equipment is strongly recommended, including wrist guards, elbow and knee pads.
- Any person violating any provision of THPRD rules and regulations or any law of the State of Oregon may be excluded from Park District property. (Section 15.1 THPRD Rules and Regulations)
- Use of abusive, threatening or obscene language is prohibited. (Section 1.1 THPRD Rules and Regulations)
- Alcoholic beverages and tobacco products are prohibited at this THPRD facility. (Section 7.1 THPRD Rules and Regulations)
- THPRD reserves the right to schedule this facility for programs. When not reserved, this facility is open for drop-in skating. See current hours posted on kiosk.
