The Tualatin Hills Park & Recreation District invites you to join us for an afternoon of exploration in and around your neighborhood park. Learn how we are all connected to the nature around us and how THPRD is partnering with the community to preserve and enhance local natural areas. Education staff and volunteers will be leading interactive activities and Park Rangers will be available to answer your questions. A park that includes trails, natural areas, tennis courts, playgrounds, soccer fields, and an off-leash dog area? Sounds like a perfect neighborhood park! And it's only going to be getting better with the upcoming Bond-funded restoration work that is going to create improved wildlife habitat along the creek. Stop by to find out more details and how neighbors can get involved.
Led by Ranger Scott.
Meeting Location: Several entrances into this park exist. Enter from SW Rosa Rd on the north end of the park or cross the soccer field to the natural area from SW Prospect St. Both of these roads are easily accessed from turning north onto SW 192nd Ave from SW Farmington Rd.
