Nature Education Volunteers
We hope you will join the Tualatin Hills Park & Recreation District as we work to protect and restore natural areas in our community. Below is a list of environmental education events where we need volunteer help.
If you have questions about an event, please contact Melissa Marcum, Natural Resources volunteer coordinator, at 503/629-6305 Ext. 2720 or e-mail at
mmarcum@thprd.org. New events will be added periodically, so please check back for updated information.
Important Notice
PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED FOR ALL EVENTS LISTED BELOW. We ask that volunteers bring reusable water bottles to drink from throughout the day. We hope that volunteers will take this simple step to assist us in our efforts to reduce waste at the end of our events and at the end of the day.
For these events, volunteers should wear closed-toe shoes, long pants and weather appropriate clothing, as you may be both indoors and outdoors during our events.
