June tryouts scheduled for THPRD's Select Soccer Program

Youth soccer players who wish to participate in the Tualatin Hills Park & Recreation District's Select Soccer Program this summer and fall are invited to try out in June.
The tryouts, for boys and girls in the 11-14 age category (U-11 to U-14), will be held on June 9, 10 and 12 at THPRD's Howard M. Terpenning Recreation Complex, 15707 SW Walker Road, Beaverton. Players are required to attend at least one evaluation but are encouraged to attend two.
Following the tryouts, teams will be formed and soccer matches will begin in August, continuing into October. Here is the tryout schedule:

To participate in the tryouts, all players must have a valid THPRD account and register in person, online or by phone. The cost for in-district players is $175 ($75 before tryouts plus the remaining $100 before placement on a team). Teams will be formed the week of June 23 and all players will be notified by June 27.
