10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Come celebrate Earth Day at the Nature Park where you can learn to make a difference by growing native!  Learn about native plants that have the added benefit of providing you with treats from the wild and your garden.  Shop for some of these plants our annual Spring Native Plant Sale (a benefit raising money for improvements in the Nature Park) and learn how to harvest sustainably and legally from the wild.

Exhibits from local organizations will give visitors opportunities to find out about great places to visit for berry picking, what natives will be best for your garden, and ways that you can help conserve the precious native plant species of our region   Children of all ages will also enjoy the native plant inspired crafts, games, and activities.  Fun for the whole family!  Admission to the 11th Annual Earth Day Celebration is free!
