General Description: 
 
Newt Day is a family-friendly, community event that provides educational and experiential opportunities for participants to learn about the autumnal changes in nature. Activities and other offerings provide motivation for participants to explore nature during a season when most stay inside and to discover the wonders of fall in the out-of-doors.
