Combine a one-hour nature program with a party room full of windows and you’ve got the makings of a great birthday party for up to 12 children. We provide kid-sized tables and chairs, additional seating for adults, and memorable nature experiences during one-hour guided programs. You bring the cake, drinks, and paper goods. The private room with sinks and countertops is yours for 2 ½ hours for decorating, program time and cleanup. At your request, we can provide you with nature birthday invitations to send to your guests.

The forest has been a source of wonder to people for generations. Join us on a journey of discovery and hear some tales about the plants and animals that live in the forest.

 Out of Your Shell
An instructor will lead the birthday child and guests on an indoor learning exploration about frogs, turtles, and other reptiles and amphibians. After getting to see some of these amazing creatures up close, we’ll do a fun craft, and if there’s time, we'll play some games.

Cool Coyotes
We’ll stay inside to take a close-up look at what makes our native mammals unique. Our senses will
come in handy as we use hands-on activities and games to discover all sorts of cool facts about these mammals, including the interactions between predators (such as coyotes) and their prey.

Bona Fide Birds
During this indoor program, our instructor will teach your group about the bones, feathers, and diet of birds. Taxidermied bird specimens and activities will get the kids excited, and a handmade birdfeeder to take home will get the youngsters looking for birds in their own backyards.

Bug Safari
We’ll head out on a trek for some of the smallest residents on the planet. Using magnifiers and nets, we’ll search along the trails for spiders, centipedes, and other spineless creatures.

Craft Add-On Activities
These are an opportunity to add an extra activity to your party, outside of the time spent with our instructors. We offer several hands-on, nature-related craft projects. Projects are prepared with all of the materials and directions that you need to jump right into them. You can set the project up in the room
before your party and your guests can start to make their own special party favor when they arrive or at the return from their hike. Crafts projects come in sets of twelve for $15 each. Choose from these options:
