Middle School Basketball
THPRD offers three basketball seasons: winter, spring and summer
THPRD Middle School Winter Basketball League
THPRD's Middle School & Metro Junior Basketball Leagues are open to girls and boys in grades 6-8 and attending a Beaverton School District No. 48 school or residing within THPRD boundaries.
Middle School and Metro Jr Programs: Practices and games will begin in January and will run through mid March. Schedules will be available January 4th.
Spring Basketball League
THPRD Spring League, held in April and May, is open to girls and boys in grades 5-8 of the current school year. Players need to attend a Beaverton School District No. 48 school or reside within THPRD boundaries. This program is designed to be recreational in nature with the focus on participation and sportsmanship. Within this eight-week program, teams will have one preseason practice and play eight games.
There will be an organizational meeting on Feb. 10, 2010, at 6 p.m. in the Peg Ogilbee Dryland Training Center, 15707 SW Walker Road, Beaverton. Anyone interested in finding out how to register for this program can attend this meeting.
Summer Basketball League
THPRD Summer League will be offered next summer to girls and boys who will be in grades 6-8 in the 2010-11 school year. Registration information will be available in May 2010. Players need to attend a Beaverton School District No. 48 school or reside within THPRD boundaries.
Summer Skills Training
A basketball skills training program will be offered to girls and boys who will be in grades 6-8 in the upcoming 2010-11 school year. This summer program is scheduled for July and August. The purpose of the program is to allow players to meet new players from their middle school, teach them the rules of the game, improve fundamental skills and to have fun. Players need to attend a Beaverton School District No. 48 school or reside within the THPRD boundaries to be eligible. Registration will be available in May 2010.
