Harman's water temperature is 89°. The Beaverton Swim Center's water temperature is 86° and Conestoga slide pool's water temperature is 88°; both are open for drop-in independent exercise. More information can be found at thprd.org/activities/schedules/aquatic-fitness-lap-swim.
Healing Waters is an independent, drop-in, therapeutic aquatic program designed for people with mobility issues. Participants will benefit from Harman's 89-degree water and two, ADA-compliant water entry lifts.
THPRD offers guidance and support from aquatic specialists, lifeguards and trained volunteers while participants are in the pool. Please note: Healing Waters is an independent, therapeutic program. THPRD staff and volunteers can help develop a set of exercises, but do not provide therapy. Participants are welcome to bring a family member or an aide for assistance free of charge.
Healing Waters Aquatic Therapy Program is appropriate for people who are:
Rehabilitating from injury or surgery
Preparing for or recovering from joint replacement
In or released from physical therapy
Maintaining fitness to support their daily activities
Healing Waters is a subsidized, therapeutic program. We cannot take passes or offer discounts at this time.
