After a semester of spelling tests and homework, your kids can’t be blamed for craving some fresh air when school’s out! We've got your family covered with spring break camps. From sporty to outdoorsy, there’s something for every kid (ages 4-13). And with multiple locations around Beaverton, you’ll find one close by.

Spring Break Comedy Acting Camp Camp
Ages 6 - 10
9:00 am - 4:00 pm In this camp, Comedy Acting is the main tool to make children laugh, relax and explore their inner performers while also providing opportunities to work on their leadership, team building, and problem-solving skills. Please remember to send your child a water bottle, lunch, and two snacks daily.

Junior Lifeguard Camp Ages 12 - 15

Junior Lifeguard Camp focuses on developing swimming skills to help participants meet the American Red Cross Lifeguard Training course prerequisite and improve stroke technique. The camp introduces participants to lifesaving skills, including in-water rescues, use of a rescue tube, and first aid, CPR and AED skills (no certifications). Participants will shadow lifeguards in rotation to get a real sense of being on the job. Camp will also include training to aid in swimming lessons and, of course, water games. If you’re looking for a fun, hands-on camp, this is the one! (Level 5+).

Spring Break Camp Mystery Week

Welcome secret agents! Campers will take on daily missions, including solving mysteries, decoding messages, adventures in the kitchen, exciting STEM projects, and fun games! Missions aim to teach agents teamwork in a fun way. Campers will work together towards a common goal, allowing them to appreciate everyone's unique talents and strengths. Choose one day or all! Please bring a snack, drink, and sack lunch each day.

Camp Wild Things: Fur, Feathers, and Scales
Ages 4 - 6 yrs

Build your child's sense of wonder about nature and invite them to explore wildlife and the world around them. Games, songs, new friends, crafts, and adventure make this a good camp for young children.
Campers will explore the Tualatin Hills Nature Park in search of animals with feathers, fur, and scales. They'll discover how an animal's body coverings help them survive! Campers must dress for the weather and bring a snack, a bottle of water, and a small backpack daily.

Mini Nature Camp: Frogs, Logs, and Bogs
Ages from 6 - 9
1:30 - 4:30 pm
Mini Nature Camps are half-day camps for elementary-age children filled with fun and adventure. Campers will create crafts, play games, make new friends, and explore the trails and habitats of the park.
Campers will learn what makes a wetland, a wetland. They'll explore the Nature Park's murky, alive, and hoppin' waters and become experts on the plants and animals that thrive there. Campers must bring a snack, a water bottle, and a small backpack daily.

Wild Adventures Camp: Tracks and Trails
Ages 6 - 9 8:30 am - 4:00 pm
Wild Adventures Camps are full-day camps for elementary-age children filled with discovery, fun, and wild adventures. They'll play nature games, make new creations, and explore the trails and habitats of the park with brand new friends. Campers must dress for the weather and bring a lunch, drinking water, two snacks, and a backpack daily. This camp is held at the Cooper Mountain Nature Park.
Campers will sharpen their nature sleuthing skills as they learn to decipher the clues animals leave behind. They'll take a closer look at bones and skulls and search for other animal evidence along the trails.

Nature Explorers Camp: Forests Among Us
Ages 7 - 10
8:30 am - 4:00 pm
Nature Explorers Camps are a great way to make new friends and have fun while discovering nature. Campers will expand their science knowledge, learn about plants and animals, and hike two to five miles daily. Campers must dress for the weather and bring lunch, drinking water, two snacks, and a backpack daily. Camps are held at the Tualatin Hills Nature Center.
Campers will explore forests and learn about the disturbances from weather or human impacts and how forests grow back. They'll explore park maps and accomplish tasks to help our natural forests. Those invasive plants are suspicious and must be imposters!
