Monteblanco, Thompson elected to THPRD board
The Tualatin Hills Park & Recreation Board of Directors will have two new members starting July 1.
On May 16, voters in the district elected Felicita Monteblanco and Holly Thompson to the board. Monteblanco defeated the incumbent, Larry Pelatt, for Position 1. Thompson was the victor for Position 3, which has been occupied by Bob Scott, who chose not to run for reelection. Lori Waldo and Nathan Dahlin also ran for the seat.
In addition, Jerry Jones, current president of the board, was reelected to Position 2, defeating Stephanie Thompson.
All of the winners will serve a four-year term.
