The Nature & Trails Advisory Committee's charge is to guide management of natural areas, associated community engagement, trail use and development. The committee reviews high-level content relating to natural areas, wildlife, environmental education, and trails. They provide advice to help THPRD achieve success in the following areas: Comprehensive Plan goals 4, 5, 6, 8, Natural Resources and Trails Functional Plan implementation and review.
The application process for new committee members typically starts each October, with appointments beginning on January 1. Recruitment is currently closed for this year.
Due to the current State of Emergency as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, the THPRD Nature & Trails Advisory Committee meetings will be conducted electronically for now.
Public Comment: Testimony is being accepted for this meeting by email only. If you wish to submit testimony, please do so by 4 pm on the meeting date. Email testimony to email@example.com. Testimony received by the designated time will be read to the Commitee during Public Comment or the applicable agenda item with a 3-minute time limit.
