Memorial Day 2023

Tualatin Hills Park & Recreation District, along with the American Legion Post #124, will host a Memorial Day program to honor fallen American military service members and veterans on Monday, May 29. The event will also feature keynote speakers, Howitzer salute, and flyovers.

The Beaverton ceremony will be held at Veterans Memorial Park. An hour of patriotic music by the American Legion Post #185 band begins at 10am and the formal program begins at 11am.

Beaverton Veterans Memorial Park is located in between Watson and Washington Avenues south of 7th Street in the Central Beaverton neighborhood. Street parking is available nearby, with ADA parking along Washington Ave adjacent to the park.
