  The Elsie Stuhr Holiday Bazaar is Saturday, December 2nd from 9am-3pm. There will be over 50 vendors selling homemade, handcrafted items perfect for holiday gifts. There will also be raffle giveaways, music and lots of holiday spirit!

  In the spirit of Elsie Stuhr's indomitable determination and her pioneering efforts to establish the Tualatin Hills Park & Recreation District in the early 1950s, we invite you to a special event designed exclusively for those aged 55 and above.

  Elsie Stuhr: A Visionary Trailblazer
  Elsie Stuhr, a local physical education instructor, was never one to shy away from a challenge. She recognized the need for greater opportunities in physical and recreational activities for Beaverton-area residents. Little did she know that her vision would lay the foundation for the thriving park district we have today.

  We invite you to join us in celebrating Elsie Stuhr's enduring legacy by participating in a diverse range of wellness activities that encompass six dimensions of well-being: physical, intellectual, social, environmental, spiritual, and emotional.

• Thu Dec 07 at 3:30 PM - Centro de Bienvenida at Elsie Stuhr Senior Center / Centro de Bienvenida en Elsie Stuhr Senior Center

  Practice your Spanish language skills while helping families in your community at THPRD's Centro de Bienvenida- a Welcome Center for English Language Learners and Financial Aid Families. With staff support, volunteers will welcome and guide families through the selection of classes and opportunities with THPRD. All levels of bilingual skills (English-Spanish) are welcome. Please bring a reusable water bottle to drink from throughout your shift.

  Practica tu español mientras ayudas a las familias de tu comunidad en Centro de Bienvenida- un espacio para personas quienes requieren apoyo en un idioma diferente al inglés y para families del Programa de Asitencia Financiera. Con el apoyo de personal de THPRD, voluntarios darán la bienvenida y guiarán a familias en la selección de clases y actividades con THPRD. Todos los niveles de habilidades bilingues (inglés-español) son bienvenidos. Por favor trae una botella de agua reutilizable.
