Project Summary & Public Benefits
Passage of the 2008 bond measure provided funds to create a master plan for the development of this new 14 acre park and to construct the first phase of the master plan. New and future amenities include paved and soft-surface trails, a bridge across the creek, overlooks, an open lawn, nature play areas and a playground.
In addition to this new neighborhood park, THPRD's Natural Resources staff began enhancement work in park's natural area. Non-native weeds are being removed and replaced with native plants and shrubs. This natural area project is scheduled for completion next winter. Please see the Roger Tilbury Memorial park natural area restoration bond project web page for more information.
