District residents, who support our services through property taxes, enjoy lower program costs, early registration and other benefits.
Welcome to THPRD. You don't need to pay a membership fee or live in our service area to register for THPRD programs, but it is helpful for us to know if you live in our district.
Why? People who live (or own property) within THPRD boundaries support our park and recreation services through their property taxes. For that reason, the district offers in-district residents early registration, lower program costs, and other benefits.
If you are not sure whether you are a resident, check your property tax bill, or call us at 503-645-6433 for assistance. You can also enter your address below:
Residents who live outside the district, including out-of-town guests, are invited to enjoy programs and other services provided by THPRD. The park district currently provides two payment options:
Pay a 25% premium for each program
Out-of-district patrons may pay a 25% premium for each class, drop-in activity, fitness pass or program. Typically, out-of-district (OD) rates are listed in activities guide.
This option may not be used for facility rentals or affiliated sports leagues.
Yearly or quarterly assessment fee
Individuals or households may opt to pay an assessment fee to receive in-district rates on all THPRD classes, programs, passes, and drop-in programs for any single term or an entire year.
Participation in THPRD sports leagues and/or affiliate sports leagues requires payment of annual assessment fee.
Assessments can be paid online. After logging on to myTHPRD, please click Assessments.
Paid assessment does not qualify out-of-district residents for discounts provided to in-district youth, seniors, military families or those experiencing disability.
In-district residents will maintain priority when registering for classes and programs; typically, out of district registration begins two days after registration opens to district residents.
