Two public meetings of the Budget Committee of the Tualatin Hills Park & Recreation District, Washington County, State of Oregon, to discuss the budget for the fiscal year July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2022, will be held in the months of April 2021 and May 2021. In response to the current health emergency resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic meetings are being held electronically. The first meeting will be held April 21, 2021, at 6:00 pm. The purpose of the meeting is to receive the budget message and to receive comment from the public on the budget. The second meeting will be held on May 19, 2021, at 6:00 pm for approval of the budget.
Public comment will be taken in written and phone-in format. Written comments received by 5 pm on April 20, 2021 will be read during the public comment section of the meeting on April 21, 2021. Comments by phone will be taken on a scheduled basis during the public comment section of the meeting on April 21, 2021 and May 19, 2021. Comments, both written and phone-in, will be subject to a three-minute limit per community member. Public comment for the April 21, 2021 meeting must be scheduled no later than 5 pm on April 20, 2021. Public comment for the May 19, 2021 meeting must be scheduled no later than 5 pm on May 18, 2021.

These are public meetings where deliberation of the budget committee will take place. Any person may provide comment at the meetings. Notice of publication is also available at www.thprd.org.
