Nature Center – Letterboxing!
Letterboxing is a fun type of scavenger hunt for all ages to enjoy! Stop by the Nature Center to pick up a brochure, or download the PDF here, with clues and search for the hidden letterboxes throughout the park.
Each letterbox has its own special stamp.
Complete the clue sheet and return it to the Tualatin Hills Nature Center to recieve a small prize, while supplies last!
No need to sign up in advance--just show up and join the fun!
Tualatin Hills Park & Recreation District – Party in the Park!
Join us for Party in the Park -- THPRD's largest annual community event. This great day of FREE, family-oriented fun takes place in July 2020!
The Howard M. Terpenning Recreation Complex in Beaverton will be transformed into an all-day festival of free activities, including drop-in sports, swimming, crafts, games, climbing walls, inflatables, and more. Most activities run 11 am-4 pm, rain or shine.
The day begins with an untimed Family Triathlon at 9am, followed by a grass volleyball tournament and includes other activities. Food and drink will be available for purchase from several local vendors.
Babette Horenstein Tennis Center – Tennis Clinic
During Party in the Park, swing on by the Babette Horenstein Tennis Center for a FREE tennis clinic or bring your whole family to play. Learn the basics of tennis or refine your technique or simply enjoy playing the game!
