The Oregon Transportation Commission has awarded THPRD a $400,000 grant to help pay for one of the final links of the Waterhouse Trail, a system that will ultimately extend 10 miles through the heart of greater Beaverton.

The Tualatin Hills Aquatic Center, the largest of THPRD's eight swimming pools, will close on Aug. 1, so that the facility’s roof and structural roof deck can be replaced. Work is expected to be completed at the end of November.
