Use of the facility is by reservation only. Masks must be worn at all times while inside the center. Physical distancing is also required. Workout stations and equipment have been adjusted so that patrons can remain 6 feet apart while using the facility. Patrons are asked to wipe down equipment before and after use. There will be a half hour buffer between each reservation time slot so that staff can clean the equipment as well. Thank you for helping us keep our community safe and healthy.
The weight/cardio room attracts a broad base of fitness enthusiasts and the environment is friendly with lots of natural light. We have circuit weight machines, kettlebells, and free weights, including benches, a squat rack, and a cable motion functional trainer. Our cardio equipment includes stationary bikes, treadmills, stair climber, elliptical trainers and a rowing machine.
Stretching areas also are provided. Enjoy our largest fitness room in the district!
The fitness area is designed for patrons ages 14 years and up. Minors must have a waiver signed by a parent or guardian (parents can pick up the waiver form from the fitness desk or front desk).
No one under age 14 is allowed in the fitness area unless prearranged by the Fitness Liaison or Center Supervisor and accompanied by an adult (parent, guardian, parent-approved coach,+ or THPRD fitness instructor).
All of that fitness equipment can look pretty confusing, and every magazine on the market seems to have a different approach to weight lifting. Our certified personal trainers will assist you in developing an individualized exercise program during a private, one-hour session. You will learn basic nutrition, set personal fitness goals designed for your body type, and confidently use our weight and cardio equipment. Body composition testing is also available.
