Garden Home Recreation Center was one of the first recreation facilities in the nation to include a community library, and a great library it is!
Garden Home Community Library
Garden Home Community Library’s mission is to build community by connecting you to resources, programs, and one another. As a part of Washington County Cooperative Library Services, the library opens the door to an incredibly rich, county-wide collection of books, movies, music, games and more. Events for all ages, from story times to movie nights, are held here and in the library’s Annex across the street.
In April 2019, the library expanded from 1,996 to 3,449 square feet, thanks to support from the community. Visit the library to explore the collection, use a computer, printer or Wi-Fi, get reading recommendations, and relax. Library Director Molly Carlisle and her knowledgeable staff are always happy to assist you!
