Project Summary & Public Benefits

Passage of the 2008 bond measure provided funds to redevelop the three-acre Roger Tilbury Memorial Park. The park is anticipated to receive amenities including a trail network, creek crossing, overlook, and a playground. Master planning on the project began in summer 2012.

Natural areas in the park will also be restored.  Please see the Roger Tilbury Memorial park -- natural area restoration bond project web page for more information.

THPRD is excited to announce that the redevelopment of Roger Tilbury Memorial Park is now complete and open to the public. Once used to grow Christmas trees, this 12 acre plus site now connects Arborview Drive to 93rd Avenue through a series of paved and gravel trails. Along the ridge is an open lawn area with picnic tables and a bench. The park includes a traditional play area and a nature play area that offers spaces for play, discovery and observation.
