Project Summary & Public Benefits

Passage of the 2008 bond measure provided funds to redevelop the three-acre Roger Tilbury Memorial Park. The park is anticipated to receive amenities including a trail network, creek crossing, overlook, and a playground. Master planning on the project began in summer 2012.

Natural areas in the park will also be restored.  Please see the Roger Tilbury Memorial park -- natural area restoration bond project web page for more information.

Update

Tree removal is wrapping up at Roger Tilbury Memorial Park.  Crews may still be on site occasionally to continue to prepare for upcoming construction and planned amenities.  Please note that the site will be closed to the public for safety reasons until final completion, which is tentatively scheduled for winter of 2014.

You can view the preferred master plan that was approved by the Board of Directors under the "Document Center" on the right side of this page.
