What's New... Building Trades staff have been very busy this winter, focusing on completing deficient ADA projects at several facilities. Projects include:
• Installing Braille ADA signs
• Adjusting door sweeps
• Replace or reposition mirrors
• Adjusting the height of shower seats
• Adjust or modify grab bars
• Replace or reposition dispensers
Our PT Electrician is raising a Fire strobe to meet the ADA specs at the Cedar Hills Recreation facility. He has completed more than 30 strobe ADA projects, at various facilities.
Our FT HVAC Tech replaced a steam trap that was leaking. The leak created heat loss and created an uncomfortable humid environment at Cedar Hills Recreation Center.
Special Note: THPRD facilities are on a district-wide closure to support the health and safety of community members and staff. I am currently working remotely and will respond to you as soon as possible.
