The Parks & Facilities Advisory Committee's charge is to guide development and use of outdoor physical assets, buildings, and associated community engagement. The committee reviews high-level content related to developed parks, athletic facilities, program facilities, ADA access, historic properties, and community gardens. They provide advice to help THPRD achieve success in the following areas: Comprehensive Plan goals 1, 2, 3, 6, 8, Parks and Athletics Functional Plan implementation and review.
THPRD will recruit for new advisory committee members in the fall of 2022.
NOTE: THPRD is dedicated to the health and well-being of all volunteers and program participants. THPRD may require volunteers serving in these positions to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 or seek a medical or religious accommodation in lieu of vaccination. You may need to confirm your vaccination information during the application process. If you are unable or unwilling to do so, THPRD has a number of other volunteer opportunities available that don't require vaccination, including all one-day event opportunities and most outdoor volunteer positions not working with groups of people.
